Smith Mountain Lake Covered Porches : FAVORITE PHOTO FRIDAY : 7

Happy Friday!! :) This week's Favorite Photo Friday picture is again from Smith Mountain Lake.  After my sister's graduation festivities, my hubby and I headed back to the Lake House to do some fishing.  I'm a sucker for sunsets and silhouettes, so this one is one of my favorites!

Speaking of the lake house, I just heard they only have a few spots left for this year, so if you are looking for the perfect get away, check them out!!

Ceresville Mansion Wedding : Jon & Maria : May 24, 2013

This particular weekend in May I got to shoot two weddings with Erin from Magnolia Street Photography!  This was the first of the two.  This EXTREMELY fun and colorful wedding took place at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, MD.  When the bride bounces out of the limo wearing cookie monster pajama bottoms and yells, "I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!" you know it is going to be an awesome night!

Jon & Maria (they call themselves "Jonaria") decided not to do a first look and instead exchanged letters before the ceremony!

Hands down the best father daughter dance of all time...

Jon and Maria, your wedding was a blast and it was such an honor to be there!!

Smith Mountain Lake Covered Porches : FAVORITE PHOTO FRIDAY : 6

Last summer my sister, Emily, graduated from Liberty University.  My family went down for all of graduation festivities and we stayed at Covered Porches, Smith Mountain Lake Va. My next few Favorite Photo Friday posts will be from this trip.  I can't speak highly enough about the place we stayed.  Smith Mountain Lake is definitely a place everyone should visit once in their life.  This is a view of the sunset from the dock!

Knoebels Camping Trip : July 2013

After we got back from camping in NY with Derek's family, we went camping in PA with my family.  The camp ground we stayed at was Knoebels.  My family has been going here for years, but I have not been since I was little.  It was really crowded during the day time and I don't think it would have bothered me at all if I had a little kid.  I did really enjoy the park at night time tho!! The food is great in the park (there were lots of paleo friendly options), but nothing beats meals my mom makes.  Anyways, here are a few of my favorites from our camping trip.  Enjoy!

My cousin's Sabrina and JD take camping to a whole other level.  There are baked potatoes under the corn and on top of the corn is grilled shrimp.  AND they whipped this up in about 20 minutes. It looked so good!!
