Laurel Maryland Couples Session : Anne & Ryan 2013

Last year, my sister, Anne, asked me if I would like to take her boyfriend’s senior pictures.  Of course I said I would love to.  Well, a “senior” session basically turned into a “couples” session.  We managed to get a few of Ryan by himself, but most of our time was spent taking pictures of them both.  We had so much fun last time; we decided to do it again.

We met last Saturday at one of my favorite places to shoot and spent about an hour together.

Anne is my youngest sister.  I love her to death.  She is an incredible individual and speaks her mind whether or not it is the popular thing to say.  She stands up for what is right and befriends everyone.  The world should have more people like her!

I know Ryan a lot more now than I did for our last shoot and I think he is awesome.  He treats my sister like a queen.  Ladies, you would be incredibly lucky to have a guy that treats you like this.  For example, he brings her flowers because it is Saturday, takes her to her favorite sushi place about once a week, brings my mom flowers and is there for every single one of our family events (which in my family – there are a lot of ).  Ryan, thank you for being an awesome guy and treating my sister with the respect she deserves.

Here are my favorites from our time together.

SENIOR : Jenny

Jenny is one of the coolest teenagers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. There are not enough nice things I can say about this girl.  She is kind, funny, sweet, adventurous, compassionate, smart and a talented soccer player and photographer.  She is attending Liberty University in the fall and hopes to pursue pediatric oncology.  I have seen her interact with children, and she is fantastic with them.

When Jenny and I started discussing her session she had everything well planned out.  She wanted to go to a little park where her family frequently goes fishing at.  This place is a quiet little piece of heaven in the crazy busy madness of Howard County.  I would tell you where it is, but then it wouldn't be so quiet ;).  I had an absolute blast spending a few hours there with Jenny and her mom!

Jenny, thank you so much for choosing me to take your senior photos.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

FAMILY : Harvey 2012

Our Saturday Thanksgiving is my absolute most favorite day of the year.  I am so thankful for my family and thankful we get to spend an entire day capturing memories.  (Don’t know why we have Saturday Thanksgiving? View this post!)

We had so much fun last year doing our girl’s photo shoot last year we knew we wanted to do it again.  Us girls got together early Saturday morning and headed to a park by my parent’s home.

My sister even took some pictures of me this year!

My mom is gorgeous.  Beautiful person inside and out!

<3 the leaves falling in this picture!

We headed back to my parent’s house and got the guys together to take some family photos.  The light couldn’t have been more perfect.  I am IN LOVE with these pictures.

Me and my hubby actually got some pictures together too.

For those of you that do not know my mom, she loves to entertain.  She truly has a gift when it comes to entertaining – she just puts so much effort into it to make everything pretty and special.  This thanksgiving she had the table set with my Great Grandma’s china and glasses passed down to her from my Nana.

Below is my youngest brother with my husband (L), my dad smoking the turkey legs (C) and my husband and my dad (R)!

I truly look forward to Thanksgiving Saturday with my family and I really hope this tradition continues.  Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed!
